Duties and Responsibilities


Manages the process and associates involved in preparing and distributing financial statements and other operational information for both internal and external use.



  • Manages the review and preparation of financial statements for both internal and external use. May concentrate on one type of reporting:  either external or internal.
  • Ensures financial reporting complies with SOX and Organizations of the Treadway Commission (COSO).
  • Works with department VPs to provide meaningful information to operate the business.
  • Coordinates and reviews operational information for internal and external distribution.
  • Develops operational, profitability, expense, and liquidity analysis and other key performance metrics to help business leaders understand the health of business and assist in developing action plans for improvement and optimizing their financial results.
  • Conducts and supports ad-hoc analyses on issues throughout Company as assigned.
  • Collaborates with other finance and other staff to support overall reporting requirements.
  • Continuously finds ways to strengthen processes to minimize time requirements and enhance procedures in assigned areas.
  •  Fosters the Company’s core values and culture throughout the work environment.
  • Screens, interviews and makes recommendations for hiring potential associates. Coaches and provides leadership, direction, motivation and supervision of direct reports.  Appraises performance, provides performance feedback, takes corrective actions and oversees training and development of staff.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.



  • Bachelor's degree (B.A. / B.S.) in Accounting, Finance or related field or the equivalent combination of education and experience.  
  • At least 5 years related accounting experience with knowledge and experience with GAAP and SEC requirements. 
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills.
  • Certification as a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) is peferred. 

  • Experience in Financial Reporting preferred.

  • Previous supervisory experience is also preferred.
