Duties and Responsibilities


Oversees the Company’s financial planning, forecasting, budgeting and analysis of actual results for revenue.  Works with the accounting and operations team to ensure we are billing our customers in accordance with our complex revenue contracts.

  1. Collaborates with and advises revenue leads on the planning and execution of strategic partner-related initiatives; ensures that revenue-related decisions align with corporate goals.
  2. Analyzes various statistics and revenue balances to provide explanations, correlations and deviations that require additional investigations.
  3. Analyzes statistics compared to actual activity to ensure completeness of statistics from various systems.
  4. Examines revenue performance versus forecast and plan, investigates variances, and communicates findings and recommendations to leadership.
  5. Develops operational, profitability, expense, and liquidity analysis and other key performance metrics to assist in developing action plans for improvement and optimizing revenue results.
  6. Manages preparation of annual revenue budgets and reforecasting.
  7. Oversees and works collaboratively with FP&A to understand revenue variances and develop revenue projections and forecasts.
  8. Performs ad hoc analysis and other duties as assigned.
  9. Fosters the Company’s core values and culture throughout the work environment.
  10. Screens, interviews and makes recommendations for hiring potential associates. Coaches and provides leadership, direction, motivation and supervision of direct reports.  Appraises performance, provides performance feedback, takes corrective actions and oversees training and development of staff.
  11. Performs other duties as assigned.





The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability necessary to perform this job.



  • Bachelor's degree (B.A. / B.S.) in Accounting, Finance or related field or the equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • At least 7 years related accounting experience with proficiency with GAAP requirements.
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills.
  • Ability to apply advanced accounting concepts to current business issues.
  • Strong analytical skills. Detail oriented nature and strong proficiency with complex contract interpretation.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to represent the Company among our airline partners.



Previous supervisory experience.



Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical publications, or governmental regulations.  Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.  Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.



Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.



Makes limited decisions and determines best methods to solve problems by referring to established precedents and policies.  Impact of decisions is moderately low.
