Republic Airline, based in Indianapolis, operates a fleet of 180 Embraer 170/175 aircraft and offers scheduled passenger service with 900 daily flights to 100 cities in 35 U.S. states, Canada, the Caribbean and Central America.  The airline provides fixed-fee flights operated under our major airline partner brands of American Eagle, Delta Connection and United Express.

Duties and Responsibilities


Provides efficient and compliant training and support to all contract and customer service associates utilizing company,
code share partner training programs and procedures.



  1. Ensures that all training is carried out within Federal Aviation Administration guidelines, code share partner requirements and company policies and procedures.
  2. Assists with the development, modification and implementation of new and existing training programs.
  3. Updates and tracks paper and electronic training records.
  4. Collaborates with instructors in the creation of a variety of training materials and related media.
  5. Organizes and maintains training materials; distributes to instructors in current or new operational cities.
  6. Schedules initial and recurrent training; modifies as needed.
  7. Prepares and maintains weekly, month end, quarterly and year end reports.
  8. Assists instructors in the classroom or as on the job training situations require, when a certified instructor is not available; trains the trainers as necessary.
  9. Performs other duties as assigned.



  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED).  No prior experience required if previous education in aviation or related field, otherwise, some aviation experience is required. 
  • Preferred: Specialty training beyond high school in aviation or related field and previous experience in aviation and/or aviation training.
  • Able to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, safety rules and operating and procedure manuals.  Able to write routine reports and correspondence.  Able to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization. Fluent in both English and Spanish. 
  • Able to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions.  Able to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations. 
  • Makes limited decisions and determines best methods to solve problems by referring to established precedents and policies.  Impact of decisions is moderately low..
  • Able to move about the work environment. 
  • Frequently required to stand, walk, sit, talk and hear 
  • Work may be in a busy airport terminal.
  • Training schedules vary by request; will need to work overnight and weekends.  
  • Able to travel up to 75% of the time, including overnight stays and International locations.
