    Duties and Responsibilities

    POSITION PURPOSE
    Develops and shapes the Company’s employer branding to the talent market by building a strong employer brand to help attract, acquire and retain top talent.  Also develops and executes overall internal communication with emphasis on social media for a variety of initiatives to engage and inform Associates.

     

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES

    • Develops and executes social media branding and talent strategy through competitive research, platform determination, benchmarking, messaging, and audience.
    • Develops marketing strategy based on market research for advertisements within publications, on websites and with other businesses.
    • Optimizes company Social Networks (Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, YouTube, and Instagram) within each platform to increase the visibility of company’s social content.
    • Generates, edits, publishes and shares daily social media content (original text, images, video or HTML) that builds meaningful connections and encourages candidates to take action.
    • Generates, edits, publishes and arranges content for professional printing of materials, brochures, etc. for use at job fairs and other talent acquisition needs.
    • Monitors and protects brand usage for internal customers.
    • Maintains and updates content on company websites.
    • Partners with talent acquisition leadership to discuss current and upcoming staffing needs, industry trends and recruitment targets.
    • Collaborates with other departments to manage reputation, identify key players and support Company sponsored events.
    • Creates concepts for brand advertisements for publications, websites and billboards.
    • Improves social communications by capturing and analyzing the appropriate social data/metrics, insights and best practices, producing meaningful reports and then acting on the information.
    • Assists in producing videos and choreograph photo shoots for external marketing purposes.
    • May attend recruitment/job sourcing events. Generates rapport with contacts in order to plan and/or conduct information sessions and presentations to prospective candidates. 
    • May draft presentations and host webinars for the organization.
    • Performs special projects and other duties as assigned or required.

    Requirements

    REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
    The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability necessary to perform this job.

    EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE.

    • Bachelor’s Degree in Journalism, Communications, Public Relations, Human Resources or related area or combination of education and experience.
    • 2 to 3 years of experience in social media, talent acquisition or related field.
    • Displays in-depth knowledge and understanding of Social Media platforms, their respective participants (Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, Instagram, etc.) and how each platform can be deployed in different scenarios.
    • Experience sourcing and managing content development and publishing.
    • Knowledge of branding and brand protection.
    • Ability to manage vendor relationships.
    • Strong consulting, writing, editing (photo/video/text), presentation and communication skills.
    • Ability to work at a fast pace with minimum supervision while managing multiple projects simultaneously.
    • Ability to work well with others and across multiple departments
    • Positive attitude, detail and customer oriented with good multitasking and organizational ability.

               

    PREFERRED EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

    • Sitecore and Word Press knowledge and experience preferred.
    • Demonstrable social analytics tools knowledge.

     

    LANGUAGE SKILLS
               
    Ability to read and comprehend instructions, short correspondence, and memos.  Ability to write
                instructional correspondence.  Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group            situation to customers, clients, and other associates of the organization.

    Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or
                diagram form.  Ability to deal with problems involving several variables in standardized situations.
